Locally Raised
Murray’s Chickens are raised in the rolling hills of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The birds are processed just over the New York state line in the Catskill Mountain region of Sullivan County. By partnering with a select number of family farms Murray’s helps to strengthen local economies and protects small farmers by allowing them to focus solely on the exceptional quality and taste of the Murray’s Chickens they grow. Unlike many others in our industry, Murray’s Chickens is family-owned – our commitment is to great tasting, healthy chicken not to shareholder demands.
OUR CUSTOMERS
OUR FARM PARTNERS
Murray’s Chicken contracts with individual family farmers in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Many of our grower/partners are from families that have grown livestock and crops on their lands for many generations. Our growers are passionate about their birds and are committed to raising the highest quality poultry. Our growers follow Humane Farm Animals Care’s stringent requirements (see www.certifiedhumane.org) for growing, raising and handling poultry under the Certified Humane banner. Farming and raising livestock is a tradition passed from generation to generation. We are happy our grower/partners chose to be part of the Murray’s family as well.
