Shipping Policies
To ensure that your product arrives at its destination in wholesome condition, it’s shipped FedEx Standard Overnight. Ground shipping is only available within a 100 mile radius of the point of origin. All chicken are hand cut fresh and individually vacuum-sealed, then frozen for guaranteed freshness. The meat is protected with ice packs to keep the temperature cold and the product safe.

STORING YOUR BIRD
- Your birds will be vacuum-sealed and ready to go straight into the freezer. Sealing them up after they’ve been chilled locks in the pure flavors of a fresh bird, so don’t cut open the plastic until it’s time to get cooking.

HOW TO DEFROST SAFELY
- PLAN AHEAD: In your refrigerator
Typical frozen chicken will take some time to thaw in your refrigerator, so plan ahead. If there is still frost in the cavity, run the chicken under cold water and pat dry before cooking. - QUICK THAW: Under cold water
This method is faster than refrigerator thawing, but you’ll need to pay closer attention. Submerge your vacuum-sealed Murray’s Chicken chicken in cold tap water, changing the water every 30 minutes. - COOK IMMEDIATELY
After completely thawed, you should cook your bird within 2 days to maintain its freshness and quality.
When Will My Chicken Arrive?
- All of our products are shipped in the mornings Monday through Wednesday. Product will get to you within 48 hours (orders after 10 am are processed as the next day). Obviously we never want product to get stuck in the mail over the weekend which is why we stop shipments for the week after Wednesday morning. Therefore, if you want a package guaranteed by the weekend you have to get your order in by Wednesday morning at 10am Eastern Standard time!

- Orders placed Monday-Wednesday will arrive the next business day. Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will ship the following Monday and arrive in one business day.
